Role of temperature in regulation of the life cycle of temperate fish

This survey provides information on the adaptive responses of fish metabolic processes to reduced temperature of habitat, as well as on the direction of adjustment of energy metabolism and the mechanisms to improve the reparative capacity of tissues. Data on the effect of the temperature factor on the reproductive function and development of fish in early ontogeny are presented.
